We are hiring a motivated Business Development Manager to drive adoption of our AI-driven underwriting tools in Egypt. You will lead the promotion of solutions such as the Underwriting Management Filter®, enabling smarter, faster risk assessments. This role is ideal for someone experienced in the insurance ecosystem and passionate about data-powered decision-making.
Roles and Responsibilities
Represent eData Egypt in a professional and credible manner
Promote and sell Underwriting Management Filter (UMF®) and other UW products
Identify and approach leading insurers and brokers in the Egyptian market
Build strong industry relationships with local regulators and insurance stakeholders
Meet monthly sales targets agreed with management
Keep accurate sales records and CRM documentation
Participate in product and sales training sessions regularly
Report sales progress, market updates, and customer feedback to management
Maintain deep product knowledge to conduct consultative sales
Track competitor offerings and market trends in underwriting tech
Attend events and networking opportunities to raise eData’s profile
Support client onboarding and solution adoption processes
Requirements
5+ years of experience in the Egyptian insurance market
3+ years of experience in a sales, underwriting, or product management role
Knowledge of underwriting processes and digital transformation trends
Existing relationships with insurers and brokers in Egypt
Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Based in Cairo or able to travel regularly across Egypt
Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or related field
